Growing up in the Houston area, I always had a flair for parties and social gatherings – though I never dreamt it would become a profession.  Instead, I pursued a career in finance after completing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Texas A&M University and the University of Houston, respectively.  As my own events continued to garner praise and admiration, friends and family asked for my help with their events.  With that, Exquisitely Dunn was born!  Infusing events with exuberance and elegance is my passion.  I will bring a high level of detail to your event because of my love of trends, style, and design as well as my propensity for structure.  Let me create one of the best moments of your life and provide you with the elevated experience.

As a child, I knew I wanted to become a pediatric dentist and own my own practice.  I graduated from Texas A&M University, and attended dental school in Dallas, Texas.  Within two years of returning to Houston, I became the owner of a successful dental practice and married.  I began assisting Kayla in her early years.  When I became engaged, I knew I had to have an Exquisitely Dunn event.  My business acumen is useful in ensuring our clients receive the best possible service and products.  I have a passion for etiquette and logistics.  I cannot wait for you to encounter the elevated experience.

Exquisitely Dunn was officially established in 2007, but its story begins many years prior.  Our founder and creative director, Kayla Marie Dunn, has been crafting memorable events since childhood.  She quickly realized her knack for dreaming big and transforming vision into reality.  This, coupled with her impeccable style, allows us to create classic, elegant events to suit any client’s taste.  The hummingbird embodies our philosophy at Exquisitely Dunn.   It is delicate, yet surprisingly strong; it is versatile, efficient, swift, and graceful.  Understated yet bold, the hummingbird provides joy, brightness, and love.  This is the unique spirit Exquisitely Dunn brings to every event.
